A contemporary plant retailer exploring the relationship between design, home and the natural world. MOTHER brought an extensive range of uncommon plant species into an approachable urban setting, pairing living inventory with planting accessories, handmade pottery, home objects and the practical knowledge required for long-term care.

WORK—SITE developed the project from initial concept through multiple retail locations and an independent product line, shaping its positioning, identity, interiors, merchandising and customer experience. The project expanded beyond the physical store through a collection of professional-grade plant-care products, soils and accessories—extending a consistent system of design across formulation, packaging, photography, wholesale presentation and e-commerce.
